College is expensive + recession = money is hard to come by. We at E-group have put together the Mustang Marketplace for Morningside Students to buy, trade, and sell to one another new and used goods and services to see if we can come together and help each other save some money.
One problem we hope to dampen is the fact that textbooks are expensive at our campus bookstore. On Mustang Marketplace, students can list their textbooks and get in touch with those in need so as to make more money on selling them back, and not having to pay so much for them. The books are listed according to Class category, and the specific Morningside course for which the book applies is listed in each description.
The benefit of Mustang Marketplace compared to craigslist or ebay or any other online service is that we don't have to ship anything or drive anywhere as we are all located on or in close proximity to campus for transactions.
